Christmas ABC's: J is for Jesus

For the letter J we talked about the Savior. We read these books.

This Is the Stable

The Christmas Baby

We then talked about our birthdays and how sad we would feel if no one remembered our special day. We likened this unto the Savior and I think it really started clicking for them. They now have been talking about how exciting Jesus's birthday will be this year.

We also sang "JESUS" to the tune of Bingo. This is a fun way for them to learn how to spell HIS name.

After our stories and talking, we did some crafting. We made birthday cards for Jesus. I took some wrapping paper and some old Christmas cards and let the kids go crazy with their scissors and glue. They had a lot of fun making these, which you can tell in the pictures below. This was a fun day and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something spiritual to do with your littles. I got this idea from ramblings of a crazy woman. Anyways Have a wonderful weekend and I will be back on Monday with more of our Christmas ABC's :>

Oh and yes she did dress herself today.
