Syllable M&M Christmas Tree

Here is something we have been doing this month to work on syllables. I have been teaching Miss Priss and bubba how we can "clap out" syllables. This has been working really well with them. I decided to make a game out of it. I have phonic flashcards that I use. I say a word and then they have to tell me how many syllables. Once they answer correctly, they put the appropriate amount of M&Ms on the tree. Once we fill up our tree, we then play for M&Ms to eat off the tree. This has been a fun way to get them excited about learning Syllables: >

Have a Blessed Day!
