Blogging for Books: In Too Deep by Mary Connealy

Bethany House Publishers sent me a free copy of this book to review

So I blog for a lot of reasons. I blog because I love to share the crafty things I have made. I blog because I feel like I have lots of tips and tricks to share when it comes to being a wife and mother. I love to meet new friends out in blog land and I love inspiring others each and every day. It makes me so happy. Another reason I blog is for books. I literally blog for books. My love for books started young. I can remember being 5 years old, sitting on my dads knee, reading "Happy Jack" That is probably one of my favorite memories of my dad and me together. I cherish that he took that time to read with me often. Both my parents love books and taught me by example. My Mom especially was always reading. I think because of this I too gained that love. As my 5 year old self grew, that love for books just continued to blossom. I am a busy Mom and Wife, so my reading time is not as often as when I was 5, but I try to squeeze a little reading in each day. It is a little me time. I love good, wholesome books. All my books must have a PG-13 rating, if you know what I mean. Because of this I mainly read books by Bethany House Publishing. They are a Christian Publishing Company. With them I know I am always getting a great book to read. They have a huge selections of genres. I am a hopeless romantic, so I love their historical romantic fiction. I love reading books of love, history, and journeys. I love having just a few minutes to slip away into another world and learn of another time, a simpler time when cowboys rode around and families journeyed through life together. Seriously my favorite!

Well with all that being said I recently found out that I could blog for books through Bethany House Publishers. They have been sending me some awesome books to read lately (for free I might add) and I am excited to get to share them with all of you.

Today I am reviewing In Too Deep (The Kincaid Brides)

I just finished this little peach of a book. This book is set in the late 1860's, when the west was still expanding. Seriously my favorite setting for a story! Sorry had to have my book nerd gush moment there.  As the story unfolds you grow to love Ethan and Audra, as they begin to realize that there marriage of convenience has turned into something more. I loved seeing how they grew to love one another, while dealing with their past demons. To be able to fully love one another, they had to let Christ in and allow him to help heal their past wounds. They learn to confide and rely in one another, all while dealing with kidnapping, being lost in caves, and hit men out to get them. This book was a fun, thrilling read. I hadn't read the first book in the Kincaid Brides series, but I was able to pick up on the story very quick. I loved this book and can't wait to read the other books in the series.

Here are some other books I love from Bethany House Publishers.

Have a great day Lovelies
and Happy Reading!
