Save Money on Magazines!

Photobucket
Did you know that the library has a magazine section? I informed hubby of this last week. He thought that they only had magazines to read at the library, but they actually offer back issues of popular magazines to check out. The magazines can be enjoyed at home as well. I love this! I don't need to pay monthly magazine subscriptions. I can still read my favorite magazines, while taking advantage of everything my library has to offer. I love Woman’s Day, Family Circle, Parents Magazine, and Taste of Home. These are probably some of my favorites. I love getting back issues, especially around the holidays. I don't mind if the magazine is a year old. The ideas are new to me. It is a great way to find recipes, decor inspiration, and fun crafts to do with my littles. My library also has Cosmopolitan, Reader's Digest, Scrapbooking Magazine, Us Weekly, Men's Health, and many other selections available to their patrons. Check and see if your library offers magazines to check out. Then you can save and still read your favorite magazines.

Also while you are here, don't forget to link up
to the Feature Friday Linky Party.

Have a great weekend lovelies!

P.S.

I have to give a shout out to my big bro. It is his B-day today. You rock P! Happy Birthday! I also wanted to let you know I have a new dessert recipe going live this weekend and the Sunday Blog Hop is back baby!

Later Gator!

  1. I didn't know that about the library! That's pretty cool. Recently, I've been starting to collect freebies from a couple different sites. They always have year subscriptions to magazines for free! I've gotten Better Homes & Gardens, Cosmo, Seventeen, Martha Stewart Living, Oprah + tons more. My favorite site is Vonbeau.com!

Just thought I'd share my "free magazine" secret! :)

  2. I work for the local public library, and you would be surprised at how many valuable resources that your local library has available to you. Take advantage of it! Check out our library website http://www.hannibal.lib.mo.us/ , we have a tool that you can actually put a dollar amount on the value of the services you use from the library.
