Family Night: Heritage Holidays

Have you all recovered from Christmas? I am getting there. I am dog tired, but happy. I will just be opening toys, reading instructions to little kid gadgets, and finding a place for everything today. Did I mention I will be doing this all while never venturing out of my sweats? Yep, that is how I am rolling today. So while I am doing that, I wanted to share what we did for Family Night last week. The Clark County Museum has got to be one of my favorite places to visit. This museum has captured little pieces of time, and put them on display for all to enjoy. They have a street set up, to resemble different time periods in history. At this time of year, they have each home decorated in appropriate decor for that time period.I swear I swoon at all the vintage goodness, while my Hubby looks at me and laughs. I could spend all day here folks, I kid you not. Well there was no way my littles would allow that, but they did last an hour. We walked, learned, oh and a particular red headed girl whined....a lot...luckily free hot chocolate helped Miss Priss make it a bit longer. It was a fun family night, where I took an obnoxious amount of pictures. So feel free to browse the pics and have a lovely day.

  3. I would love this place - wish I lived closer! My MIL's bathroom still looks like the one in the photo (hehe). I have just discovered your blog and have been reading it for over an hour. I am amazed at how much wisdom you have at such a young age Danielle! Keep up the great blog!

  4. I love that museum! My family has been several times and my kids love it too. I even took our Christmas card photos there last year.
