Just like in my Flirty Lace Tote, I received some fabric from Wholeport.com. After making my tote, I still had quite a bit leftover. I decided my sad front door needed a new wreath. It has been naked for a while and I couldn't wait to get a beautiful wreath up there. This took me about 30 minutes to make. Easy Peasy! I simply cut a few long strips from my fabric. I then wrapped those around my wreath form (which was purchased at a thrift store) and hot glued them into place at the ends. I had some pleated flowers in my craft stash. I originally bought them at Hobby Lobby on clearance. They were each under $3. I hot glued some fun buttons onto the flowers and finished my wreath. I love simple projects like this. You get to create, but also not spend hours trying to make something. Short and sweet, just how I like my craft projects.
Create something beautiful for your home today. All you Mamas out there deserve a little "you" time today. Tell your hubby's I said so:)
XO Danielle
Oh how pretty! I was just contemplating making a spring themed one with all my leftover yarn and knitting up little flowers to embellish. By the way, I made your old-fashioned buttermilk bread and I must say it is the best I have ever tried! And I have made many over the years..LOL! God bless!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute project. I often seen wreath forms in my thrift store travels so I will pick one up next time and give this a try. Thanks!
