Love Notes From the Littles

Today I need to make a confession...well really a proclamation...being a Mom is tough nuggets sometimes folks. Am I right? From the time those littles get up, till the sun goes down we are constantly on the go. Mom's eat last at meal times, since those littles need help and such. We are referees and generals when it comes to breaking up fights and disciplining littles. We cook, clean, read stories, fold loads and loads of laundry, wipe bums and boogers, oh and we never get a day off. Even when we are sick. It can be tough and absolutely exhausting at times. I was having one of those no good, very bad, exhausting days, when I was given some sweet little notes from my kids.  There is nothing like a sweet little "I Love You" to take your no good, very bad day, into an absolutely, wondrous, day. Being a Mom is tough nuggets, but I wouldn't change this for anything in the world. I've always been told that when life hands you lemons, you should make lemonade. Well when mommy stresses bog down my day, I am thankful I have two little red heads to help me make some sweet, refreshing lemonade. So if today turns into a no good, very bad day for you mamas out there, grab those littles and make some lemonade. It will totally turn your day around:)

  1. that is so sweet - i have a heart that i carry in my wallet that my little made me. it was one of his first shapes he cut out in school last year. they are good at knowing when we need those little bits of extra love.

  2. I have a redheaded little too! Tonight she reached over and put her hand out at dinner. There's nothing better than feeling those little hands wrapped around yours! Tonight was some DEFINITE tough nuggets! Math homework! UGH!

    Love your blog!! :)

  3. My little is now in college. Trust me the days go glad you are embracing all the moments, good and bad, and encouraging others to do so as well. We LOVED reading the "No good very bad day series". This post made me smile and I love reading your blog......

    Great Job:)

P.S. We home schooled too, and our little made the Deans list his first semester,, it is worth the effort!!!
