My littles love playing with LEGOS. They love creating and challenging each other to create new works of arts. Recently I saw this DIY LEGO game on Inspired By Familia and knew it would be perfect for our Family Night this week. It didn't take long to make and the kids had a blast playing it. We enjoyed homemade pizza , salad, and homemade root beer*, while playing. Thanks Mari for the great game tutorial! Too fun!
*I bought some root beer concentrate and followed the directions on the back for making homemade root beer. It was really good!
*Remember family night is not about the amount of money you spend, but how you spend your time together. Unplug and enjoy time with your family this week.

Where did you get the root beer concentrate from and what brand is it? My dad used to make it when we were growing up and it was so good!
ReplyDeleteI found the concentrate at Wal-Mart. It is the McCormick brand. It was really yummy!
DeleteI really love all your fun family night ideas! My kids are all grown up but one teenager and we still look for ways to keep him interested and engaged. Homemade root beer? Haven't had that since I was a kid. I may have to make some of that!! Have a great week.

The Lego game looked like fun and the pizza looked really good. Now I want some pizza, LOL! I absolutely agree, quality time with family is what matters the most. Your children will never remember how much money you spent on something, but they will always remember the way they felt while spending time together as a family and they will cherish those memories when they're adults.
