Happy Homemaker Monday

Morning Lovelies! I wasn't able to do HHM last week, so I am happy to be able to join in the fun this time. I love taking a few moments to reset and prepare for the week. I hope you are all well rested and ready to start off your week. Also for those that have the day off, enjoy it! Have some fun with that family of yours.

As I look out my window...

The sun is rising. I can hear the garbage trucks making their rounds. Its about 48 degrees outside and is suppose to get to around 60 degrees. Its going to be beautiful today.

Right now I'm...

Listening to my hubby getting ready for work. Its a wonderful feeling having him home. Everything feels right again.

Thinking and pondering...

How thankful I am. One year ago hubby was finishing up with college, not sure if a job would be there for him. We followed God's prompting and took that leap of faith. It was a big leap and He provided for us. I feel very blessed right now.

On my bedside table...

My journal.  I'm trying to be better at keeping a scripture journal. I find it helps me to write down my thoughts, as I'm reading. It helps me process what I'm learning.

On my TV tonight...

Grim. Now that hubby's home, we can catch up on some of our favorites.  We love Grim, Sleepy Hallow, Raising Hope, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Almost Human. Can you tell I save all the action packed shows for him? :)

Listening to...

The heater going. I'm thankful for this home I live in and warm heat.

On the menu tonight...

Bean and cheese burritos. An easy meal for a packed evening of littles classes. I am going to be planning out this weeks menu in a few :)

On my to do list...

Laundry- never ending
Bake bread
Clean the sheets and rugs in the house

Plans for this week...

Ballet and wrestling for the kids
Celebrating Libby's birthday with a family dinner
Library- the boy is reading through his Goosebumps books rather quickly

What I am sewing, knitting, or creating...

I'm teaching myself to knit. I have the looms and am determined to make something.  Its slow going though.

Looking around the house...

I've got some organizing to do. Hubby brought home all his stuff from training,  so now everything needs a place.

Lesson Learned this past week...

Sometimes you just have to move forward. You might not understand everything that goes on in life. When those confusing times happen, sometimes it is best to just shelf that thought/experience for a while and move on. Understanding may come later or not at all. It is really up to God. Don't fret on the little things that happen in life. Know He is the Creator of all and will bring us through this crazy, sometimes confusing life.

From the Camera...

Prayer List...
My children, my parents, my hubby. Prayers are always needed.

Bible verse, devotional...

"Forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember. We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future"
-Choosing to Forgive by Benjamin F. Call - Ensign January 2014

Have a wonderful day lovelies!

XO Danielle
