I don't know what it is about hot air balloons, but when I saw this vintage inspired fabric at Joann's, I knew I needed it. I purchased this fabric a few months ago. I didn't have a project in mind, but I knew when I finally used this gem, it would have to be a good one. When I found this bulletin board at Savers, I knew I had finally found a project for my hot air balloon.
This was such a simple project. I think sometimes we just need a quick project to get the creativity flowing. I made it in under five minutes. It now sits over my desk, ready for inspiration to be pinned to it. My very own, real-life pinterest board :)
I laid out my fabric on my kitchen table (right side down) and placed the bulletin board on top of it (cork board faced down). I stretched and stapled as I went around the board. I used a normal stapler. No heavy duty one needed. When I got to my corners, I folded them and then stapled.
So simple and fun to make. What projects are you lovelies working on?
