How To Get Your Spouse on Board With Budgeting...

How To Get Your Spouse on Board With Budgeting...

Good morning lovelies! I am so excited to share another video with you guys. I posted it yesterday on my youtube channel, but hadn't gotten a chance to share it here on the blog. Yesterday kind of got away from me - don't we all have that happen sometimes :) - I filmed this video while grocery shopping over the weekend. Yes I was that lady talking to herself in her car, in the middle of the parking lot, but hey I had ideas to share with you haha! :)

I often get asked what to do when you are trying to get a resistant spouse on board with this budgeting thing. This question kept pressing on my mind as I shopped and I figured it was time I share a video about it. I think this is a hard question to answer, because every single situation and family is different. I hope this video will help you and encourage you if you do have a spouse who is a bit skeptical of this budgeting stuff. Remember I was once that resistant spouse, but have since learned to live below my means and am loving it! I know that if we show love and kindness to our loved ones and continue to show them through our words and actions how much better life can be when we stop living beyond our means, things will get better. Don't lose faith in your spouse who is a bit hesitant. I am thankful Hubby continued to love me and encourage me, when I was a little too credit card happy. His love and support made me want to make a change for the better.

I hope you are having a fabulous day. Oh and have you seen my instagram posts lately? I've been posting some tips and tricks to help you on your #NoSpenduary Challenge. I've shared a date idea, breakfast idea, and of course a tip for staying out of the drive-thru. Lydia  shared today how to make your shower gel stretch and I had a HUGE light bulb moment with her genius skills. I had never thought of doing it this way. We will both continue posting tips and tricks throughout the month to help you along your saving journey. Be sure to follow us, so you don't miss out. I am so excited for everyone who is joining the challenge. I can already feel how amazing this month will be! I am thankful for all your love and encouragement. I know we can do this! :)

XO Danielle
