Winco Grocery Haul for April...

Have you all geared up for your monthly (or however often you shop) grocery trip yet? I got all my shopping done this week and I can't wait to share with you what we got, our meal plan, and the videos I took for each haul. The first place I shopped at was Winco. I went with the munchkins, who were such a BIG help. They have been so on board with this new "diet" of mine. We have been slowly making changes and they have thankfully been liking most of the changes.

I made my list of the things that we were needing and then the kids and I took off for the store. Since they were so good during shopping, they got to each pick out a box of Popsicle. They then had to help bring everything in before they could eat a Popsicle when we got home. See how I made that work in ym favor haha?! I love having the extra hands to bring everything in from the car. I swear that is the worst part of shopping....the unloading the car part, but many hands make quick work so it went like a breeze.

I have my video below sharing what we got, what we paid, and how I'll be incorporating it into my month.

Enjoy!

Have a wonderful day lovelies!!

XO Danielle

  2. Yes, can you please post some of your smoothie recipes? I've tried making some of my own and so far they don't taste very good! I need some inspiration. Also, those Outshine popsicles are one of my favorites for the summer.

  3. Thanks for sharing. I find it really interesting to compare how prices vary. Your bananas are so cheap- wow. Ours are $0.77/lb (I am in western Canada). Yet, our avocados have been around $3 for 5 lately.

Have you tried cashew butter? It is so delicious! We only buy it a few times a year becuase it is $10 for a small jar but again so good.

I've found that making frozen treat bars for my kids myself has saved us a big chunk of change each summer. Just puree some fresh strawberries a tiny bit of honey and some plain balkan yogurt. Then freeze them and that is it. Mango, raspberries, peaches and so many other flavours work great.

And I totally love that your children are interrupting you and you are sushing them- yay for being real!
